About the Artists

Mariah Lopez is a commissioned artist who focuses mainly on oil painting portraits and recreations of old masters work. Earning her undergraduate and graduate degree in Dance Education, Mariah has always had a passion for the visual arts. Painting under the guidance of Kevin Murphy for a few years gave her an addition of skills and techniques to expand her style of work. Mariah has received senatorial recognition for her artwork in 2010, has been a commissioned artist since 2011, small murals in places such as Princeton Day Spa in New Jersey, and has won a handful of art contests on the East coast. Mariah has a distinct appreciation for the arts and continues to paint and teach students with exceptional potential while she works diligently in dance education.
